Question Regarding Underlying Hebrew Manuscript of Strong's

Thank you so much Brandon! You did an excellent job explaining that! I guess I should have known all of that, but I just never sat down and thought through it. I will definitely be utilizing the TR module more. Again, thank you! Peter

Question Regarding Underlying Hebrew Manuscript of Strong's

My question has to do with the underlying Hebrew (and, I guess, the underlying Greek) manuscript(s) of the "King James Version with Strong's Links" tab in SS. In this tab, are the underlying Hebrew and Greek Manuscripts the Hebrew Masoretic text - Ben Chayyim, presumably and Greek Textus...

    "Fixing Tabs" In-Place?

I am sorry it has taken me so long to get back here. Lot's of things in life pulling for my attention! Thank you Bill and Brandon! I actually did just update and everything is anchored! I agree Brandon. I have found that I really need to limit my showing tabs to what I use the most often...

    "Fixing Tabs" In-Place?

Hi All! It has been a while since I was around here, but I just got a "new" desktop and had to put SS on it (been using it on my laptops for years now). My question is this (and maybe it has been answered before, if so, sorry!): Is there a way to "anchor" tabs in alphabetical order...

Question About Adding Links in Modules

Thanks Brandon! Thanks also for the link. With all of the improvements you have made recently I thought for sure there was an easier way to do it and I just couldn't find it! LOL!

Question About Adding Links in Modules

OK, I know this has probably been covered before, but I can't find it in the forum. My question is: Is there a way to create a link, in a user-editable-module, to a specific PART of the module. Right now, all I see that can be linked to are entries already made in the "entry" menu. I want to...

    SwordSearcher on Linux

Sorry, I haven't been on here in a while ;-) Yea, I finally gave up. As much as I would love to commit totally to Linux, I just can't do it. I need MS PowerPoint and SwordSearcher to run well as I am a pastor that uses both daily. I have yet to find any other Bible Software that is as...

    A Few Thoughts...

Thanks Brandon. I will download it, but I have to do it after midnight (AK time). If I don't, it will chew-up my limited bandwidth  I might be able to get back to it Monday. Still preparing for services tomorrow. Thanks again for the help. I'll keep working on it! Peter

    A Few Thoughts...

I don't know if this makes a difference, but I do not have the choice of "Use this book module for look-up" in the Study-click settings. It is faded out (unclickable). I tried all the previous settings, but nothing would make it come up to be usable/clickable. Peter

    A Few Thoughts...

Yes, that comes up no problem.

    A Few Thoughts...

Well, I tried changing the settings and still have the same results. Window shows searching...then disappears. I then have to click on the windows taskbar several times to bring it up. Oh well.

    A Few Thoughts...

I will give it a shot Brandon. Thanks! I keep forgetting to look at the Help files! Peter

    A Few Thoughts...

Thanks Brandon! I think I may have found a bug. Maybe the reason I haven't used Study Click much is because when I hover over a word, all I get while holding the CTRL button is the option to open the topic guide. When I do click on it, nothing happens...well, the window does "pop-up" but it...

    A Few Thoughts...

I came up with a few ideas....probably none of them new to you Brandon, but I thought I would share a few things I would like to see: Bible view options where "everything" can be switched on/off (verse-per-line layout/paragraph layout, footnotes, cross-references, Strong’s numbers, etc...
