    Noah Webster's Bible

Does anyone know how to get inside the code for this to strip out one or the other column? It would be found most likely in the layout code.

This is wonderful! For a while, this module was no longer working in my copy of Sword Searcher. Now it is!!! Appreciate greatly the detailed instructions for installing this, so I could start over and get it working again. My _index page shows the date 2013-2023! 🥰

Hi Ruthlyn. I'm writing you because I wanted to know how to have a private conversation. Looks like this is it! I can't think of anything in particular at the moment I need to discuss about doctrine with anyone, but I figured you might not mind a note from another woman Christian here. Thanks!

    Getting Started with SwordSearcher Questions

I have a wild guess what Paul might have said about SwordSearcher and what he could have done with it. Philippians 4:11-13 King James Version 11 Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be...

    Getting Started with SwordSearcher Questions

Welcome Nathan! For me the number one primo feature of SwordSearcher is that it searches INSTANTLY. There is no buffering, and not even a pause, or even a millisecond to load. You click and you're there. I could be wrong, but what I've seen of other software for Bibles it's not like that...

    My Commentaries

I'm using this to death at the moment. Found out my grown son has Sword Searcher. So created an html he can use on his computer to see my notes if he wants. Poor kid. It's a LOT of notes. I didn't realize how many I had!

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE FEATURE IN SWORD SEARCHER?

Wow. Let's see if I can think through everything I regularly rely on that I get in Sword Searcher: 1. Ability to make my own "commentary" (notes, which when I learn better, I just add the date and put it underneath the place I was confused!) 2. Ability to make my own "book" where I can collect...

Scroll Position not saved in Commentary/Books Bookmarks

Wow. Talk about taking things for granted! I had to check one of my bookmarks in a large book in Sword Searcher to realize that it really DOES bookmark it - in the text, where I was - when I made the bookmark. I do not know the answer. But I can validate that it goes to the place in reading that...

No word wrap on user edited modules

I don't know if dark mode has html coding I would want to mess with. I know nothing of programming these days. However, I think I found the mistake I made in my comment earlier which got a question from Mr. Staggs: was NOT actually new. Only straight typing. But since it was not new, but only...

No word wrap on user edited modules

At best, intermittently. If I could get it to always be one way or the other I'd show you screenshots. I just made a test entry that has never been done before on Genesis 24:1 (my own notes) and the word wrap was fine, though. So now I'm doubting my memory. I remember making a new note -- but...

No word wrap on user edited modules

What is interesting about this, is that when I simply type the text in as I am doing right now (no copy and paste action) it does the same thing. At this point though, as soon as I see that after saving what I wrote, I just go back in and use the style-and-format cleaner, and it takes care of...

No word wrap on user edited modules

Thank you, Eric. There was only one part that it wasn't working on. All the rest were corrected. Using the format cleaner was the ticket to make that last one go away.

No word wrap on user edited modules

That, after using the other for all other entries, did the trick! Thank you, Eric and Brandon, both!

No word wrap on user edited modules

I write " " in "Text to Find", only one space in "Replace With" then hit "Replace..." button and get "Text not found:  " or "Text not found: nbsp;" with the only option "OK" button. I know I'm in the code mode because it looks like html type coding to me. I tried using the Search and...

No word wrap on user edited modules

I'm not able to make word wrap happen on user editable modules. This has not happened before in about 4 years of use. I just upgraded my computer to Windows 10 (from Win 7). Is there something I should know to make it work?

Sometimes will not scroll in edit mode

I'm not joking. Really, I reboot once a week. But THREE TIMES a day? Okay. I'm groaning with you now. That would certainly be frustrating! You have my condolences!

Sometimes will not scroll in edit mode

Just curious: why do you hate rebooting your computer? I ask, because I've found if I reboot my computer at least once a week, everything on it runs more smoothly. Does it take a very long time? My reboot, at most, takes about 3 minutes, 5 minutes if I make a cup of decaf while doing it.

    Preachers' Bible Reading Plan

This is wonderful! I really appreciated you figuring out the time per day and letting us know. That way I know I can do it! I have it downloaded, installed and will finish today's by tonight and be right on schedule tomorrow! I've been looking for a plan that I can add to the one I'm doing which...
