Fixed! Saving entries in SwordSearcher?

Has anyone else who has Windows 8 had any trouble getting a new entry or an edited entry saved?

I click to save the edit and I have to do it the second time to get it to accept it.

Does anyone have any suggestions or is it a bug in the program perhaps?

Hi Regie,

The problem you are describing is related to recent changes in IE 11. I am assuming you already have the hotfix 2 update that fixes the problem of not being able to save entries. If you use the shortcut key "Alt+S" to save your entry and close the editor in one step, or the "Save and Close" item on the File menu in the editor, you can skip the extra confirmation prompt. This has already been fixed in testing and the next update will eliminate this extra confirmation prompt.
 
Thanks much for your reply. I have started just using the Alt S function - I rarely use IE though I did download Windows 8.1 - however nothing I did corrected the problem as best I can tell - so therefore I use the Alt S function.
