I created a user module containing 3 word search phrases. You can get it here:

Here's an explanation. I wrote a program to go through each word in the Bible (about 789,000) and pick up the next two words to make a phrase. Then I searched the Bible for that phrase and counted the occurrences saving the phrase and count in a list. Then I went to the next word and did it again. I took the resulting list and selected all the phrases that were 10 or more characters long and had 10 or more occurrences in the Bible. From these I made a module that contains about 7000 searches.

This process generated a total of approximately 386000 unique phrases. Many of these phrases make interesting searches. I haven't been able to think of a manageable way to select just the interesting ones automatically yet. Any feedback would be great.

The searches are of the form "word1 word2 word3*".

I updated this module by sorting the search links into alphabetic topics.

This module might be useful to do a daily devotion by searching the Scriptures. Also, try using the f3 key to search the module for concepts like right* or *love* or kn?w* and then explore the resulting searches.

These lists were produced by going through each word in the Bible (about 789,000) and picking up the next two words to make a phrase. Many of these phrases make interesting searches and give surprising results.

From the resulting list all phrases those with ten or more occurrences and ten or more characters were used for this module. About 7000 searches met the criteria and were placed into alphabetic topics.

The searches are of the form "word1 word2 word3*" and are open ended on the right so that the phrase "a sacrifice of" would also match "a sacrifice offering", "a sacrifice often", and so on.

Boy, this thing is really neat! I was doing random searches with it and I noticed "power of God" is only in the New Testament. I don't know why but for some reason that's very interesting.

Here's the top 100 of the 93,208 - 3 word phrases having more than 1 occurrence. Remember that the third word can be a partial match so in the second example, it could also match "the children offer...", etc. Use the Swordsearcher character string search method. There may be some small difference in some cases with the number of occurrences that SS returns. The first one in the list is not in my book because it didn't have 10 characters.

I did a search for "law of" and the results were very interesting. I think you could make the search "the law of" if you wanted three words. How would YOU search that, Bill? I just did a quick search...
