Trial version and SS Modules

I am a brand new user of SwordSearcher. I downloaded the trial version four days ago and I have spent hours using and loving it.
I thought I looked the web site over pretty good to see if SS Modules were usable in the Trial version, but could not find any information. So I downloaded one and tried it and it installed just fine, so I installed several others.
Now today I was reading the FAQ page and saw this:
(Also, users of the full version can install additional free modules from SSModules.)
Was it some sort of error that I was able to install Modules to the Trial version?
I plan to buy the CD full version next week anyway, but I don't want to be illegal in the mean time.

During the initial evaluation period, there are no restrictions on which modules you can install. After the evaluation period is over they will no longer load into SwordSearcher, even with a "free" serial number.
