    Logos 8 v. SwordSearcher

Your Logos 8 works and will continue to work for a very long time. It is awkward to use several pieces of software and multiple computers, but sometimes that is the most efficient method, not just the cheapest method. When I have a working Windows computer, using SwordSearcher as the primary...

    Logos 8 v. SwordSearcher

The free Basic edition is still at edition 8. Only the paid versions have upgraded to 9. I read that new free versions typically upgrade after January. If we own a higher level in 8, the free Basic 9 upgrade will probably include SOMETHING we do not have. If I am lucky the basic things I need...

    Logos 8 v. SwordSearcher

Again, my main computer is not running Windows. Using Swordsearcher as my main software package is a no brainer, if life allowed me to stay on Windows; it does not. I have been playing around with all my options again, including hardcopy books, and Logos. Logos ... sigh! Their aggressive...

Ryrie Study Bible vs SwordSearcher Resources and McGee

I returned the Ryrie Bible. Again and again, I just come back to SwordSearcher and the public domain and free resources. I have very few new and for-profit resources that I have stayed infatuated with after I had time to dig into them.

Ryrie Study Bible vs SwordSearcher Resources and McGee

Ryrie says that Abraham was born in 2165 BC and Ussher says 1996 BC. I wasn't expecting those 2 resources to differ so much on that date. I am just trying to be able to use multiple resources simultaneously in some sort of simple way. I am looking to COMBINE multiple resources, not cause division.

Ryrie Study Bible vs SwordSearcher Resources and McGee

I have purchased the Ryrie Study Bible, and am wondering how its notes, charts, and timelines compare to some of the resources in SwordSearcher. I have been aware for a long time of the timeline controversies pre-Abraham, but didn't know about the other controversies, in particular the length...

    Logos 8 v. SwordSearcher

I use Logos as an ebook reader for copyrighted books that are free or cheap through Logos. It is a fancy Kindle app to me. I use Sword Searcher for my serious Bible study. It would cost me a fortune to purchase the public domain books through Logos. And ... paying so much for the public domain...

    What I love about SwordSearcher

My Windows computer has been a MESS since an update last summer. There is no software that compares to SwordSearcher for any price. The only reason I have not thrown my Win laptop in the trash and given up on Windows forever is because I need it for SwordSearcher. I use some of the other...

KJV in SS vs KJV in Logos

I have the TSK from CBD. The 3 column pages are unreadable. it looks like Hendrickson photocopied 2 different old books, and that one of them was an oversized 3 column book and the other a smaller 2 column book. I can read the 2 column pages but not the 3 column pages. I had forgotten about Abe...
