I am a semi-retired Computer Management (IS) Consultant. I have been applying my analytic ability to the Word of God in my semi-retirement to research and author and publish books for myself and a few others. I

have retrained myself in the original languages of the Bible, both Greek and Hebrew. I have been working for eight years now but more so in the past 3 years to produce a variant of the KJV Bible along with two retired Language professors we are calling the SKJV - Simplified King James Version Bible. The New Testament was completed in 2010 and a limited run was made for evaluation. The work is nearing completion on the Old Testament and it is hoped that we will be able to make the entire version available by the end of 2014.

It is our goal to use this version to assist in missions where English is the Second Language and to release the print copies for mass distribution through Bible Societies initially. I am planning to place the Gospel of John here as a sample of the version to see if there is an interest by the users of SwordSearcher in this version.
