With SwordSearcher 8.3, audio Bible support has been significantly expanded, with verse-level synchronization available for multiple mp3 audio Bibles, and the ability to link an unlimited number of audio Bibles at the same time.
  • Note that SwordSearcher does not come with an audio Bible. You may integrate any of the audio Bibles listed below into SwordSearcher once you have obtained them from their publishers or retailers. Please see the audio Bible page on the website for a complete list of supported audio Bibles and where you can obtain them.

If you want a quick start on adding an audio Bible to SwordSearcher: Go to this Amazon page and purchase the Hendrickson Publishers Scourby audio Bible. When you get the DVD, copy all of the files from the DVD to a folder on your hard drive. Then, in SwordSearcher, go to File, Configure Audio Bibles, and click the Link an Audio Bible button. Point it to the folder containing the files you copied from the DVD, and you're good to go!

The Scourby.com audio Bibles were changed by the publisher. New verse timing tables had to be built for their new files. This was done and updated in SwordSearcher 9.0.3.23108. Go to Help, Check for Updates to get up to date if you want to use the Scourby.com mp3 audio Bible.
