I love all these convenient features in SwordSearcher! It's helped me grow so much more than if I was studying the Bible on my own. All these resources at my fingertips - click and find, another click and it's open in front of my face. It's just lovely!

    Getting Started with SwordSearcher Questions

Welcome, Nathan! SwordSearcher has so many outstanding features - take a look at the thread where many favorite features are listed (https://forums.swordsearcher.com/threads/what-is-your-favorite-feature-in-sword-searcher.4133/) for recommended areas for your write-up on SwordSearcher. I...

    Audio Bible

I've done a similar thing just with search results, for instance, "but God." There is something special about hearing verse after verse on the same phrase, it's like watching a bud bloom. The marvelous features in SwordSearcher bring so many blessings. Thanks, Brandon!

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE FEATURE IN SWORD SEARCHER?

Another of my favorite features is being able to type a list (even a loooong list) of verse references, then Ctrl + t and, Voilà! all the verses are instantly written out! And one more, Scan Text for Verse References. I must say, there are different favorites for each task I'm doing in...

Oh, I was wondering why isn't spirit of God capitalized sometimes?

That's a great question! I'm not an expert, but I believe the difference is when talking about filling a person with a limited or special ability or attribute of God as opposed to the Person, the Spirit. The context of the verses should sort that out.

    Creating commentary notes

What do you need extra help with, Risen?

    Comments on the exact verse

I'm not sure what you're searching for, but if you use quotation marks around the reference, i.e., "John 1:3", in the full library search, it will only bring up results for modules that reference John 1:3. Is this what you're wanting?

    Creating commentary notes

Which folder is it in on your laptop? If it's in Documents/SwordSearcher User Modules, check in SwordSearcher File>Preferences>Module File Locations and see if Documents/SwordSearcher User Modules is listed. If it's not, you'll need to add it.

    Reading Plan

Yes, your named schedule is contained within the Schedule.ss7schedule file.

    Reading Plan

If you're storing and accessing the reading schedule and highlight files on OneDrive for all of your computers, they should always be in sync. If you're using local file storage for one device and OneDrive storage for the other, you'll have to manually sync the files back and forth. So, if you...

Greetings to All From A New User

Welcome! Searching is really personal preference as SwordSearcher's search features can handle anything. Maybe do some practice searches on modules already included in SwordSearcher and you'll get a feel for how you want to set up your modules. I have my personal notes in a single commentary...

    I cannot load user modules

Have you checked your Preferences & Settings>Module File Locations to make sure that Documents>SwordSearcher User Modules is listed there?

    I cannot load user modules

Did you put them in the general Documents folder or in the Documents>SwordSearcher User Modules folder?

    Reading Plan

I think if you use 'cloud' storage, you might add it to the module file locations list and access it from either computer. I've not done that, but it seems others might have - you could search for posts about that on this forum. Someone who uses the cloud with SwordSearcher could answer that...

    maybe voice activation and commands

Have you looked at the accessibility options in Windows settings? I haven't played with it, but there might be some voice commands through the accessibility voice options there that would do what you want.

The Commentary Wholly Biblical: An Exposition in the Very Words of Scripture (KJV) aka "The Bible Self Explained..."

I got the Ps-Mal version from them (https://www.forgottenbooks.com/en/books/TheCommentaryWhollyBiblical_11371145), as well as the Mat-Rev. I don't see any missing pages or advertising in the purchased versions, and they seem to be the same as the free version from archive.org, except for the...

The Commentary Wholly Biblical: An Exposition in the Very Words of Scripture (KJV) aka "The Bible Self Explained..."

I searched for this book in digital form and found it at ForgottenBooks.org. What I found said that they 'print on demand' - that is, they have digital copies that they will print and bind and send from the UK when you order it, so I asked them if they had a digital copy for sale. Their...

The Commentary Wholly Biblical: An Exposition in the Very Words of Scripture (KJV) aka "The Bible Self Explained..."

I started Gen 1 by copying just the verse comments from the pdf to my commentary for each verse, then I fixed the OCR typos for the references and used Ctrl+t to fill in the text. Then I realized that in the pdf, some of the Gen verses had superscript numbered phrases or words, so I went back...

The Commentary Wholly Biblical: An Exposition in the Very Words of Scripture (KJV) aka "The Bible Self Explained..."

Ah, I didn't realize that it only went through Job. It will take me a long time to get through Job, though, and maybe a complete document will surface by then. It will be great getting to Job!

The Commentary Wholly Biblical: An Exposition in the Very Words of Scripture (KJV) aka "The Bible Self Explained..."

I did download the pdf from archive.org and it has some issues, but I've started using it to make a commentary module - not an exact duplicate of the pdf, as I like to see the verses in context, so when they used a segment of a verse, I converted it to the whole verse. I've split out the bundle...
