Hi John. You can get the book at http://www.swordsearchermodules.net. Click the "Commentaries" link and you will see the OT History book. Note that this is a v4 book and will have to be converted. To do so, follow these steps: - After downloading the file, unzip the book to a...

    Wish list for NEXT release

Double-clicking on a word in the Bible pane will go to the nearest entry in the currently active book. So you can select Websters and then double-click. But if you change books then you have to remember to change back. However, this doesn't work for the commentary pane, and obviously not in...

Commentary on Hebrews by Arthur W. Pink

Hi Regie. This is great, thanks for doing it. I haven't noticed any bad links yet, but I did find a couple other very nit-picky things if you wanted to know. The entries for Heb 2:9, 11, and 14 all have a different font type and size then the rest of the commentary. And a number of the verse...

A great addition to SS would be Alfred Edersheim's The Temple - It's Ministry and Services. Though dated, it is a fantastic resource and is freely available in the public domain. After completing Edersheim's Old Testament History for SS I had planned on doing this one as well, but ran out of...

    Finally after all these years....

To me the joke is much less about any of the specific issues in the joke, such as Bible versions, and much more about the overall theme presented in the joke. I've used it in conjunction with teaching on Ephesians 4. Verse 3 tells us to "endeavor", or to "make every effort", to keep the unity...

    Orphaned user-created mods?

I would be happy to host any mods on http://www.swordsearchermodules.net, of course. There would be no restrictions on content other than falling under the broad umbrella of Christianity.

    Finally after all these years....

Theological differences Here's the condensed version. ------------------------------------------ I was walking across a bridge recently. I spied this guy who looked like he was ready to jump. So, I thought I'd try to stall him until the authorities showed up. "Don't jump!" I said...

    Finally after all these years....

Well, after they got the hang of how the joke was proceeding, I wouldn't repeat the entire phrase each time as it got longer and longer, just the last item. That shortened it considerably but still kept the same punch at the end.

    Finally after all these years....

That is a great joke. I've used it a couple times in a sermon or in Sunday School and everyone gets a big kick out of it.

Don't thank me for that one. Like I referenced, that module came from the Spirit and Truth website (http://www.spiritandtruth.org/), and it's owner, Tony, did all the hard work on that. So, make sure you wander over to his web site and look around. -- Jerry

Ok, here's what's new at http://www.swordsearchermodules.net (next time I'll try to think up of an even longer website name). These are organized by the menu option they are located in from the main page. COMMENTARIES - Testimony of Jesus Christ (Updated - latest release). Don't forget to...

    Great Software!

You shouldn't have a problem. If you do, just ask. BTW, if you do have a problem, the best place to ask probably would be the "User-Created Resources" forum. -- Jerry

    Image viewer questions

After some investigation, I found that png files past fine, but jpg files do not. The originals are in png format, while the ones I added, including the images from TOJC, are in jpeg format and do not seem to paste. Not a big deal now that I know what the issue is. Thanks. -- Jerry

    Topic & Verse Guide topics

How does an entry get tagged for a topic in the T&V? I would love to be able to tap into this functionality. For instance, I have entered a book that is a series of messages from a pastor, one chapter which is "How to Raise Children." I would love to have that entry show up if I search on...

    Image viewer questions

Brandon - #1) If I change the resolution of a picture I am viewing via the mouse wheel, is there a quick way to get it back to the picture's original size? Obviously I can use the mouse wheel to try, but that is complicated by the fact that there is no indication of what the original size...
