You can download the midis you want and make a module with each of them named and linked, then when you want to listen to them, you just click the link. I did that with J Vernon McGee's 5 years of Thru the Bible and it works very well.
SwordSearcher has been top-quality since the beginning. Every upgrade has been insightful and extremely useful! I remember the joy of SwordSearcher freeing me form the hours of sitting at the kitchen table with large volumes of commentaries, concordances and my Bible. Every time I think it's...
Yes - sorry about that. I tried to reply to you to say it wouldn't work after all, but I messed that up as well. It may be something to do with the .png format - I tried adding a border to a png image in one of my modules, but it didn't appear.
I love the new features, and the new Commentaries are a great addition! I especially like the poetry in the new module, "SSHymns" along with the verse references.
At first, I thought this was a great tool to find verses that I had in my fuzzy memory, but after using it a few times, I've found it to be a great tool to find verses loosely referred to in sermons and videos. Add my thanks for this tool to Bill's.
Sorry, I thought you were looking for a way to increase the size of the text in the module window when the text size was set in modules that can't be edited.
There is also a magnifier tool that is really useful for looking at small text or images on your computer. You can find it in Settings under Ease of Access.
I didn't answer this question well - I use the KJV-TSK Bible tab when I'm looking at a specific verse. I like the way the TSK works and tend to follow links down paths I wouldn't find on my own. My favorite commentary is Wholly Biblical Self-Commentary. I'm transcribing it from the PDF. It...
Psalm 98:8-9 (KJV) Let the floods clap their hands: let the hills be joyful together before the LORD; for he cometh to judge the earth: with righteousness shall he judge the world, and the people with equity.
I use the proximity search to find verses I'm vague about. For instance, my mother's favorite saying was "Pride goeth before a fall," but try to find that in the Bible. It's not a correct quote, so the search won't have it. The proximity search is perfect for finding the main words and...
I've purchased and upgraded small Windows based notebooks and computers a few times just for SwordSearcher when I was traveling. It works great! As a bonus, I could get emails and keep in touch with family, make notes, etc. It was fun to find coffee shops and cafes that had free wi-fi.
I love it when you remind me of SwordSearcher features that I may have forgotten! The widget and word trees are great tools, Brandon. Thanks for bringing them to my attention again! 😍
You're right! With "Find verses with ALL the words specified" marked in the search dialog box and the icon that you marked toggled, the search will render single verses with the search words highlighted. Good job, Pastor!
I love SwordSearcher! Thank you, Brandon, for all the hours you've thoughtfully put into making it such an easy program to work with. SwordSearcher has changed my life for the better! 🥰
