    McClintock and Strong Biblical Cyclopedia

It's grayed out because you chose the "look up in webster's" option.

    McClintock and Strong Biblical Cyclopedia

I'm not sure what you're asking, sorry. It's an encyclopedia, and can be used like a dictionary or any other book module in SwordSearcher. When you say "default dictionary" what do you mean? There is no singular default dictionary setting in SwordSearcher. You can configure it to work with...

    "light Bulb"

Commentaries are exclusively verse-based. So an "edit link" for a user commentary has one entry to immediately open for editing, whether you have created content on it before or not. Books don't work that way. Think of it this way: if you had a user book edit link on Genesis 1:1, what would you...

    "light Bulb"

The margin content is off in verse lists by default. If you really want it on, you can turn it on, just look at my initial post where I showed Johnny how to turn it off. You'd be checking the boxes instead of un-checking them.

    "light Bulb"

It uses your configured settings for Verse List panel defaults. File, Preferences, Verse List Defaults. Un-check the margin area items. Of course, this affects search results loaded into Verse Lists outside of the Find Verses About window, too.

Guide to Running SwordSearcher on Linux Operating Systems (Updated June 2024)

I have addressed this many times. There is no way for me to build the source code for SwordSearcher as a native Linux application. It is pure Windows API code. It has to be rewritten from the ground up. So few people use Linux on the desktop, and those that do are fractured among many...

Guide to Running SwordSearcher on Linux Operating Systems (Updated June 2024)

As an experiment I set up Omarchy Linux on an old laptop. It's an AI-first operating system. I opened an agent window, gave it the URL to this thread (for the WINE guide), and told it to adapt the guide for WINE 11 and to install SwordSearcher from the setup files I had on a USB stick. It...

Guide to Running SwordSearcher on Linux Operating Systems (Updated June 2024)

If you're fortunate to have a Windows 10 Enterprise license you can certainly sit on it for a while. Most consumers don't have this kind of license from Microsoft.

    Printing

I recommend just copying into Word and then adjusting so you get what you want. The print function in SwordSearcher is really meant for quick one-offs. Copying into a word processor should give you the same content with precise control over size and borders etc.

Embedding Study Click into a Website?

VerseClick is probably what you are looking for. StudyClick is a SwordSearcher feature, not a web plugin.

    Hymns module

I'm glad you like the new module. And I agree, that is a great hymn. The reason it is not there: None of the source songbooks for the Hymns module contain that particular Hymn from Wesley. I'm adding to my to-do list the task of sourcing an additional hymn or two from the same period to expand...

    SSLibrarian application error

Yeah, minimum required Windows version for the Librarian is 11.

The Book of Revelation by Clarence Larkin

This looks systemic to those modules. I'll get this on the bug report list.

    A.I. model

That's a result of a lot of different variables (model choice, context size, even right down to how you phrase your question and what the random number generators introduce). It's non-deterministic. When it comes down to getting a format you want to see, the trick is to just ask for it. :-)

    A.I. model

Just ask for what you want. If you want a one-line list of cited sources at the end of the response, tell it so.

    Cloud API "Rate Limited" error

You can decrease the context size. Try 32K. Mine is at 64k and I don't see problem with rate limiting on Claude, but a few other users have reported rate limit errors at the default.

    External exception E06D7363

Unless you are asking for a specific author or module title, every query will use all 102 of your modules in its search. Don't confuse analyzed sources with modules. Sources are taken from your modules depending on what the search planning stage turned up. Each query will pull from different...

    External exception E06D7363

Heh, thanks for the correction. I don't have a step-by-step on using LM Studio but the help file you posted does include what's needed to do it if you're patient. :)

    External exception E06D7363

Using LM Studio directly is not going to give you answers grounded in your SwordSearcher library. But you could set up LM Studio as a back end server and configure the Librarian to connect to it as an api provider. I don't have instructions for doing this. Your hardware (as you showed) is not...

    Links Used IN A Module

If you want to send that docx to me, I can add it to my bug list backlog and take a look at some point.
