Windows 10 is now offered for free. Would SS work with it ? Would there be any advantages as against my current Windows 7 ?

I am toying with the idea of buying a Windows 7, 10" tablet ... BUT .. only if I could use Sword Searcher on it. My question is to those who know about these things ... Would Sword Searcher load onto & work on a touch screen tablet ? I have read 'Yes', it will do anything a regular PC will do...
