highlighting.ss6hilite corrupted

All of a sudden, my Highlighting.ss6hilite changed to Highlighting.ss6hilite.corrupt. All my post highlights were gone/corrupted. Is there any way to repair the corrupted Highlighting.ss6hilite? Many thanks! William
