Big Picture Studies - Tabernacle

In the module BPS, Big Picture Studies, "The Tabernacle Typifies Jesus Christ," I get the text but to the left of the text, instead of what apparently are supposed to be pictures, I have all big black boxes with a little yellow box in each one in the upper left corner, with a black exclamation point inside the little yellow box. Kind of like when, with my old computer, I used to get a little white box with a red "X" in it, which meant I could not view a particular picture or graphic because I didn't have enough something-or-other, I forget what you call it, to show it. With my new computer, however, I don't have that problem at all, because it's a new one with tons of whatever that is. But in BPS, why would I not be able to see the pictures? Does this happen to anyone else and can it be fixed?

Also, at the very end of this study, there is blue underlined writing that says, "Play video", which when I hover over that with my cursor, a pop-up line says this refers to "file:///c:/program%20files/swordsearcher%205/images/BigPicture/holy_new.asf", but when I click on it, nothing happens.

I appreciate any help on this!

The image files must be located in c:\program files\swordsearcher 5\images\tabernacle in order for the Big Picture module to find them. If you are running Vista they are probably located in c:\program files (x86)\swordsearcher 5\images\tabernacle. Create a new directory in the correct location and move the files there. I don't think the video is available in the module. That should fix the problem. The directory should look like this:

Volume in drive C has no label.
Volume Serial Number is 3169-73FC

Directory of c:\Program Files\SwordSearcher 5\Images\Tabernacle

Ignore my last post;

Swordsearcher is looking for the images in c:\program files\swordsearcher 5\images\BigPicture but they were installed under Vista in c:\program files (x86)\swordsearcher 5\images. So you have to either change the links in the module to point to the correct location or you have to fool the module by putting the image files where it thinks they should be.

The easiest solution is to create a new directory - c:\program files\swordsearcher 5\images\ and copy ALL the subdirectories from c:\program files (x86)\swordsearcher 5\images to it.

Let me know if this works for you. You will probably have problems with these other modules that I created for the same reason. (BigPicture, 1 on 1, Atlas, and CIAFactbook)

Bill, thanks for your help on this. I'll have to tackle these instructions from you (bless your heart!!) later today, but meanwhile, let me ask.... Does the same apply for Windows XP because that's the operating system I have.

Thanks a heap :)

The key is to have the image files in c:\program files\swordsearcher 5\images\

If you installed SS somewhere other than c:\program files\swordsearcher 5\ then my modules will not show the graphics because they assume that location.

Vista by default put 32 bit programs in c:\program files (x86)

Hope that helps.

I looked in C:\Program Files\SwordSearcher 5\Images but did not see the Big Picture file. I had the Atlas folder and Atlas worked great, far as being able to see all the pictures. So it looks like somehow I lost the BPS images folder.

So I went to the SS Modules website and re-downloaded BPS and it works great now! Great pics and I love the video, too.

Thanks, Bill. That was easy :)
