If it's at all feasible, my recommendation would be to use the editor in SwordSearcher to insert the images. You could use Forge to do the initial import of the text, make sure the module is built to be editable, and then add the images in the module entry editor in SwordSearcher to ensure they are properly inserted.
It should be possible to do it with Forge, but I will need to look into getting the exact format for you -- if you have a lot of images to do and you are automating this somehow, that would make sense. Let me know if you decide you need to do it with Forge and I will look into it.

Yes sir - I do have a lot of them to do. However, in the meantime I experimented and the first image from the book I am doing has been a success. I used a format like this to get it to work:

The work I am doing is "Systematic Theology" by Wayne Grudem. I found a pdf copy of it online. I don't know if it has a copyright on it or not but I figured it must be ok to use since it was in pdf format. Anyway, if you know it is ok to use, I will be happy to share it with you when I finish with the work. I figure at least since I have a copy of the book, I can put an undistributable copy of it in my SwordSearcher for personal use. Is that the right way to consider such? If you discover that it is ok to use and if you want to put it in SwordSearcher, please let me know. The pdf copy is seemingly really good with the Greek fonts and as best I can tell is ok with the Hebrew fonts, though I know practically nothing about the Hebrew alphabet. Footnotes are such a hassle that I have just mixed the footnotes with the text at the end of each paragraph.
