Im planning on purchasing a RCA Cambio tablet with Windows 10.

Has anyone downloaded Sword Searcher to a Windows Tablet.
If so was there any problems and did it work properly?
 
Windows 2-in-1 devices will run SwordSearcher as long as they are running WIndows 10 Home or Pro. If they come with Windows "S Mode" or something like that, you will have to turn off "S Mode" so that you can install software like SwordSearcher, as the "S Mode" restricts you to what you can find in the Microsoft Store.

I don't know which model you are looking at, but the Cambio tablet I saw only had 2 GB of RAM. That is pretty anemic. I wouldn't recommend purchasing a computer with anything less than 4GB of RAM. However, it should still work.

The thing about these devices is that you will eventually want to use a keyboard. Especially with small screens, the on-screen keyboard is just not as easy to use as the real thing. I had a small Windows 8 tablet for a few years that worked fine running SwordSearcher, but I was never comfortable using it as a pure tablet device. Personally, I recommend to my friends that they fine a small laptop rather than a tablet.

I have taken and tried to download 8.4
it keeps asking for a file to install
but there is hope

i was able to download the evaluation copy.
