Pastor Langley submitted a new module:

KJV Sermons - by Don Robinson - From a pastor preaching the Gospel.

List of sermons by a pastor now in Heaven. His work was just too good not to place into a book module. Did not get to meet him but gleaned from his work. I tried to build the module as a way for anyone to build to the "original bookshelf (menu) that wsbones created". I have since laerned how to do this and love the library, bookshelf menu, as a table of contents. It is all sermons, with a menu driven to all 66 books of the Bible, and all divisions of...

Your bookshelf is not working for me. It seems you are missing the usemap entry. All the links are commented out.

It should be something like this. Feel free to modify.

Re-doing module.
This what I have as of today.

Sorry that module was uploaded with the Bookshelf not working. (on purpose) I thought that was what Brandon meant. Here
I used these tags <!--- and ---> on that module last uploaded. I am confused because it is all working and was careul to do {ModuleAssets} and my bookshelf I created it online and have all links working as my template when I build a book module. So I am reworking it and hope to be finished this week. We se what the next one does. Thanks for the reach-out!

Just uploaded update if you could check that would appreciate it.

There is still a couple things to fix:
1. Remove the <!--- ... That comments out everything until it finds the --> at the end of the table

</HEAD>
<BODY>&nbsp;
<TABLE>
<TBODY>
<TR>
<P align=center><IMG
style="BORDER-TOP-STYLE: none; BORDER-LEFT-STYLE: none; BORDER-BOTTOM-STYLE: none; BORDER-RIGHT-STYLE: none"
src="file:///{ModuleAssets}/library.png"
useMap="#Books of the Bible">
<P></P>
<!--- ...<DIV></DIV>

2. Search for ---> and delete that. It's on the line shown below.

<P></P></P></TR></TBODY></TABLE>--->

3. When I hover on your links in Jude for example, I see the are correct, but they do not work. It seems that the subdirectories are not in the uploaded file, module assets folder.

Thank you sir!
Uploaded since you told me these issues. Deleted both , <!--- ... , and --->
Now looking into the last issue with Jude and subfolder.

Ya I have two folders inside moduleassets sermons and inside that is sermonpages

So I go looking and correcting. Always that one " jot" ot "tittle" can mess things up, as Jesus tells us in Matthew 5:18
Thanks I will get on it.

What I have now:

<P align=center>The Epistle of Jude</P>

Epistle of Jude (Jude 1-2)</A>

Bookshelf.png was yours I went online and created this one and named it "library" just FYI.
Hopeful that is not the issue. Will re-check zip and make sure folders are zipping.

Thats one issue, no sub folder inside the zip file. Just checked. I thought SwordSearcher takes care of this? If not then I am stumped as the correct procedure to force it to work? All that is my zipped folder are 3 icons images, and of course the SSBOOK File.
Missing both folders: this is a first for me.
Folder - sermons
Folder - sermons/sermonpages

Could it be because all files are Chrome HTML files (.htm)?

I don't think creating a zip file using SS puts sub directories in the zip file. You might have to manually make the zip file another way. Or, you could put all the files in the module assets folder at the same level and change the links that refer to the sub directories.

Maybe Brandon could weigh in on this.

I don't think that is the problem.
Thanks again sir. also on that note, this is where those missing files belong and are, sermons/sermonpages I think. 🔎 👀 :cool: :eek:
Ok I just uploaded the folder for download from onedrive, of course Brandon has to approve. On the page for updates and such. But that should fix it all till I re-do all those links... Hope that will be easy.

Agreed and another lesson learned. I gues that involves, export to Forge and make global changes.

Here is that folder needed. If you have time to check it out.

Explains why its working on my end but not on the upload. Are any of the links working?

OK got it. You cannot have folders inside ModuleAssets folder. So back to Forge, HTML, Folder changes.
Thanks to you both, I had forgot all about that. Tha's why I was confused.

Way back in the day, when wsbones told me if i did use subfolders, that be sure and show it:
Example - sermon/sermonpages has to be removed:
<A href="file:///{ModuleAssets}/sermons/sermonpages/genesis1.htm">Moving Day (Genesis 19:15-16)</A>

By the way you were RIGHT, and thank you for catching my mistakes.

My plan to fix= Move all files to ModuleAssets folder. No subfolders. Export to Forge, then remove all signs of "sermons/sermonpages".
This way it should be a Global change, then back to SwordSeracher by way of Forge. I'm sure I will go slower than you guys but is this about right?
