I have started a webpage that will contain any
files (BETA) that I am currently working on. It
is listed via the Link below. Instead of sending a
bunch of messages, I will post the update on
this webpage. When a workable file is completed,
it will be moved to the proper page and an
announcement issued on the forum as "djmarko53 modules"

Currently, the page lists one module based on the
works of Sir Robert Anderson. It will be much larger than
the one that is currently provided via SwordSearcher.

here is the webpage:

Here's my latest creation below. It is not a Beta Version.
It is a complete Biographical and Christian Dictionary.

  • Dictionary of Christian Biography - The Title Page of this Four-Volume set published
in 1887 reads: "A Dictionary of Christian Biography, Literature, Sects, and Doctrines."
This collection is so much more than a simple Dictionary. It provides a list of the
Principle characters of Christianity from the 1st to the 9th Centuries.
This 4-volume set is one big Biographical and Historical Dictionary containing over 8,000 pages of information on people, places, and things (Doctrines, etc...).
TAB Name:: "ChrstBiog" -- ZIPped: 12.5 MB -- unZIPped: 15.10 MB.
  • You may download by loading the webpage below. The ZIP
file is the very first file listed at the top of the following page:

it's own set of Questions for Personal study. Nicely done by the author
Henry T. Sell, D.D.

You may download this Public Domain SwordSearcher Module from

Here is my latest Theology Book for SwordSearcher below:
Outlines of Theology - Archibald Alexander Hodge (1823-1886)

A.A. Hodge was the President of the Princeton Theological Seminary from 1878
to 1886. This is a resourceful book if you need to look up information on some
Theological subject. This book is a textbook for many Christian Colleges and
Seminaries. Contains 43 Chapters and about 680 pages in print. This book has
been updated 01/31/22.TAB: "AAHodge" - ZIPped: 968 kb - unZIPped: 1.40 MB.
This book sells for as
much as $51 on Christianbook.com. The Kindle version
on Amazon is very cheap but has a lot of OCR and formatting errors and some
extremely bad reviews on
Amazon. This SwordSearcher version (FREE) is very
well formatted and is a very good addition to your SwordSearcher Library.

Bob,

This is just an example, where you have the Hymn "Jesus Is Sweet To My Soul"

1. Create a Userbook in the Sword Searcher, name it something like "HYMNS"
2. In your Sword Searche User Files Subdirectory create a subdirectory and
name it "HYMNS-Assets"
3. Place the Hymn (.MP3 file) in this "HYMNS-Assets" subdirectory
4. In the Sword Searcher Editor Click on the Tab "Code" in the bottom Left Corner of the Editor
This will put you in the HTML EDITOR
5. For an example, insert the following HTML Code, assuming the name of your song is
the Hymn "Jesus Is Sweet To My Soul"

<A href="file:///{ModuleAssets}/07-Jesus%20Is%20Sweet%20To%20My%20Soul%20(Live)_Birmingham%20Quartets.mp3">
<FONT color=#0000ff>Jesus Is Sweet To My Soul</FONT></A>

6. Having inserted the above code, click on the "Design" Tab in the Lower Left Corner
7. This will display the follow text in the Editor
7. Jesus Is Sweet To My Soul
8. Save what you have just created in the Editor.
9. Click on the Link that you have just created above.
10. You song should play on your system, but you must have a
default Audio Player installed for the .MP3 Song to play.
11. I recommend the "VLC" audio/video player, or you should be
able to use the Windows Media Player instead.
12. If you have several songs, create more Links like the above
making sure that you save your work in the editor
13. Your resulting work should look something like the following
example:

What is different about this SS Module is that all Graphics, Charts, and

Illustrations are Online. So, you will need an Internet Connection. This
will display any Image, etc... in your default Internet Browser. These are
Links that I found on the Internet and will display the various resources
mentioned above, resources that are found on a variety of religious sites.
Plus, there are tons of Charts and Illustrations from the ESV website.
From your browser you can save any images to your system. An incredibly
small file at 236 kb.
TAB: "ECMaps" -- Updated 3/26/22. Zipped: 47.3 kb.

You may download this module from the following webpage:

With this module and the other Map module on the above webpage, you

Thanks for all the work you put into these. I was playing around with some of the image only modules and thought it might be neat for them to be in the SS image viewer rather than to have additional Book tabs. I created a folder structure shown below for a couple of the sets from Donnie Barnes and renamed the image files with numeric values to place them in the right order.

1648322020155.png

This may not be the right way or the best way to do it, but after copying the folders into C:\Program Files\SwordSearcher\Images they show up nicely in the SS Image Viewer. I probably should take the time to rename the images as you have them named in the book module TOC's so they'd present better in the image viewer; for instance, renaming "06-thebrazenaltar.png" to "06-The Brazen Altar.png" would make it look better in the image list.

1648322233543.png

I had hoped to zip up and provide the renamed files for you but the file size is too large to attach to this post.

Ken,

Thanks for that information. Certainly a good way of doing it.
One thing I have noticed is that when in the image viewer, you
cannot drag and drop an image into your Word Processor.
True, you can click on "COPY" to copy to the Clipboard. That's
the only thing that I have against the Image Viewer. If Brandon
could add the feature where you can drag and drop into your
Word Processor then it would be a nice improvement. But then,
that's just me.

Arranging images in subdirectories as you suggest is a good
idea. My original intention was to create a module set with
nothing but modules of various graphic images, such as Barnes
Bible Charts (and there are hundreds of them). I probably wouldn't
worry about that if I could drag and drop them into my Word Processor
from the Image Viewer instead..
