Not sure what I did or how to change it back

I know I was messing with my settings, and I did something to change my search result to below. Now it seems to give me multiple lines for various verses with the words searched in them? @Brandon Staggs can you help me understand what I did and how to change it back?

I got the exact same results doing a search using your parameters - Lord God salvation - and I wasn't messing about with anything 🤷‍♀️

No, not how to access search. What the search is now showing. Hopefully I have explained it so @Brandon Staggs will understand.
ok thought that was your request. the search criteria seemed normal to me. But remember I am a Novice.

It's not what came back but how it looks. I did something so there are multiple search result lines for a single verse, and it used to be just one line even if there were different words / verse. Hopefully @Brandon Staggs will get what I am saying.

It's fine. I probably didn't do a good enough job explaining what the issue is.

If you click that icon it will change back to one line, as you stated you were used too.
The multiple lines are for Full View, or Concordance View. It is a "toggle icon" for both modes.

You're right! With "Find verses with ALL the words specified" marked in the search dialog box and the icon that you marked toggled, the search will render single verses with the search words highlighted. Good job, Pastor!

Looks like you turned on Concordance View for search results.

There are multiple ways you can restore the default full text view.

In settings, un-check the option:

Or, right-click the Concordance View toggle button (The one @Pastor Langley was indicating) in the search results:

That did the trick. Thanks!

So to understand the difference between "full view" and "concordance view," I used the help info.

But I'm not sure I understand when one would use full vs concordance. Do you have a video on this feature?

Oh ya, its pretty neat what it can do. Once I saw this it was again another help for Bible Study built into SwordSearcher that makes it powerful, intuitive, and fast. Here are a few links. I do not have a video but until then...

Concordance View Help
Concordance View is a special view mode for a Verse List panel. The layout of Concordance View is similar to a printed Bible concordance, with each match from the search shown on a single line:
Tip: Hold the CTRL button and click on a line in Concordance View to open the chapter in a new Clone Panel. The CTRL+Click function can be changed; see StudyClick for details.

No, I haven't made one.

This is how I described it in the user manual:

Although the normal Full View mode shows more, Concordance View has some advantages:

•It is easier to locate a single verse out of a large set of results, if you think you will recognize it just by its placement in the verse.

•All matches are shown in a single page.

•Each match in a verse is shown on its own line (see the asterisk lines in the above picture).

•Complex search results with overlapping matches can be easier to understand in Concordance View.

Holding the mouse pointer over a line will present a pop-up preview of the entire verse.

There are some drawbacks to Concordance View mode:

•Text selection is not supported. (You can, however, use the right-click menu on a line, or the copy verse widget, to copy the verse.)

•Comparison mode is not possible in Concordance View.

•Because Concordance View is directly tied to each specific match in the search, it is not possible to change the Bible version displayed in Concordance View-- it will always use the Bible version that was searched.

You can switch between Concordance View and Full View modes on the fly with the Concordance View toggle button (see first picture above). If you want to change the default view mode for a Bible search, just right-click the toggle button and select your preference:

Search results for the word "love," full view (the default display mode):

Same in Concordance View:

There is also the Quick Concordance tool (search menu, or Shift+F2) which makes it easy to stack multiple searches quickly in a separate window in Concordance View.
