praise & prayer

Hello all... I praise the Lord for allowing me to have a successful gall bladder surgery. My main concern was that the Dr be able to perform it laproscopically (sp?) and he was able to do so.

Now I would appreciate prayers for my full recovery. I was blessed to be able to have the surgery the weekend before I had a week of vacation scheduled, so of course I hope I'm not out of work too much longer than that.

Thanks in advance for your prayers.

Glad you're doing well, and glad the Lord worked it out so it could be done the less-invasive way. I know what it's like to have this surgery done, and I was up and running in no time - and without all the pain that I'd had before surgery. God bless you.

Jesus prayed for you, RevTim:

John 17:16-26 They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world. And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth. Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word; That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one: I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me. Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world. O righteous Father, the world hath not known thee: but I have known thee, and these have known that thou hast sent me. And I have declared unto them thy name, and will declare it: that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them.
But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. - Isaiah 53:5

You are precious in His sight, dear brother. And in mine - of course I pray for you daily, all of you:
Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth. - 3 John 1:2

And one of my favorites - of course, they are all my favorites, but here is this one:
Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever. - Hebrews 13:8

Love in Him to you all on this beautiful day He made for us!

God was gracious to allow the surgery to be laproscopically (sp?) and also I was released back to work when I went to see the doctor. God is good, all the time!

I'm still trying to get adjusted to what might still upset my stomach and such, but there has been great relief. I've been able to sleep on my right side for the first time in YEARS.

Now I've just got to get all my back issues fixed... LOL...
