Problem Version 4.4

I just loaded V. 4.4 on my new computer.

Everything works properly except I can't edit a book I created. I did reinstall Sword Searcher.

I get this error message:

Early 2005, Microsoft made a change to their HTML editing component that "broke" old versions of SwordSearcher and prevents the old versions from loading the HTML editor.

A fix was quickly made, but you need to download an update to make it work.

Just go to http://www.swordsearcher.com/upgrade-faq.html and download the update patch to the last 4.8. You will then be able to edit your notes again. [Note, this problem does not affect 5.0.]
 
I just reinstalled 4.4 on my new (to me) computer and the link dosn't take me to a page were I can download the patch..

I had the patch but it's still on my broken laptop..

I need the patch because I'm running WinXP pro and I want to edit/make my own books..

I would order the 5.0, but i've been unable to work for the past 5 years do to health problems and money is very tight..

I just need the patch 4.7 I think..

I've been using SS for many years now and find using it gets better with every version..

side note - In searching for the patch I came across your blog page, nice family and God bless them and your work for Him..
