Resizing question

I normally use SS at about half the size of my screen display, so that I can have the program open in the top half and EditpadLite open underneath, also half way.

I just tried to re-size the window on our new pc and it won't let me go any smaller than it is now. Is there any reason for this?

Yes, there is a minimum size constraint on the main window. It's quite small but is there nonetheless.
