Roman Numerals conversions?

Does anyone know of an easy way to convert Roman numerals to Arabic in SwordSearcher?

It is tedious and demands extreme caution, but the only way I have been able to do it is find and replace in MS Word.

Brandon, it sure would be great if a feature for that would be included in the next version of SwordSearcher - maybe a right click on the Roman Numeral to use it.

Thanks,

No. I can't think of a reliable way to convert all roman numerals without having a lot of potential for false-positives.

SwordSearcher's verse linking system can be configured to recognize roman numerals for chapters in verse references, but it's off by default. This isn't going to change any text but it does let you leave old-style verse references that appear like Joh. i. 1 (Joh 1:1) in place. Again, there is a lot of potential for incorrectly interpreting the numbers.

In the editor go to File, Configure verse reference recognition.
