Brandon,

I am currently running a 12-week Bible course at our fellowship, and have used a number of maps and charts from Swordsearcher, and want to include them in the written notes. There is a possibility of publishing these notes as a book at some stage in the future, and I am wondering if this will create any copyright problems?

It depends on which items you are using. Of the images included in the official SwordSearcher library, only the ones from One Book Rightly Divided are under copyright. All of the others are okay to reproduce.

For commentary and book modules, you can examine copyright information (if any) by right-clicking a library tab and selecting the module information item. Almost all of them can be freely reproduced in your book/material.
