Maybe on the next release you can speed up switching between commentaries.

If you are looking at a particular commentary for a particular verse, you can easily go to the next commentary which has a note about that verse by using the ctrl-shift-f12.

This keyboard shortcut also works for active books, but you use the f11 key instead of the f12.

I love using the keyboard rather than the mouse any time I can, and there are a lot of very good keyboard shortcuts in SS.
