Text reader program

Does anyone know of a Text to speech program that will work in the Sword Searcher software? I'm trying to get a book read to me as I investigate other parts of the program.

Narrator, part of Windows, works, but the commands are a little confusing. I think Brandon has text to speech somewhere on his to do list
I use these occasionally to read a book in SwordSearcher:

• To Start - Win Ctrl Enter; Position cursor on a word; to read Capslock R
• Pause - Ctrl
• To resume - Capslock down arrow
• To Exit narrator- Win Ctrl Enter
