Try http://www.gotquestions.org/ -- it's a very good and orthodox Biblical apologetic site. If you don't find the answer to the question you're looking for, you can always submit it and you'll generally get it back in about one week.

Blessings!
A quick update: I believe the staff is on vacation for a few days so any questions submitted will probably not get a response until after June 3 or 5.

Doing a quick search on the site for "dispensations" they had two articles, one which gives a very good understanding of what it is, and that it is Biblical, and the other which discusses hyper-dispensationism.

Dispensations are always progressive revelation. Not sure what traditional means, but do recommend a book titled Israelogy which covers 4 views of covenant theology vs dispensational theology. It focuses of Israel today as a missing or weak factor in previous theology by Chafer, Scofield, Larkin, ... The writer is a Messianic Jew.
