Try to download Charles Finney and other files but I get the error unrecognized file ext. Can't download. now do I fixed this?

The file extensions are used by SwordSearcher, it does not matter that they are not recognized by your operating system, you just need to put them in the correct folder. That post has details. Thanks.

I read another post that said to put the file in ss module. ?I did but still can't open it

I strongly recommend against trying to manually put files into your Program Files subfolder. Depending on which version of Windows you are using, file system virtualization issues can cause SwordSearcher to be unable to even see the file there.
Please download the file into your Documents\SwordSearcher User Modules folder and re-start SwordSearcher. Do not try to open the downloaded file with Windows directly -- it is a data file used by SwordSearcher. In SwordSearcher, go to File, Select Library Module to find it if you do not immediately see the tab. You can start typing part of the title into the Module Selector to filter the list if it is too long to read through. With SwordSearcher 7 you can do the same thing in the main search box.
