Volume One of the Popular Commentary on the New Testament by Philip Schaff. This Volume includes Schaff's Complete Commentary on Matthew, Mark and Luke. This commentary set was started in 1879 and finally completed in 1890. Schaff was the editor and main contributor, but there were also several others who authored portions of this Verse-by-Verse Commentary on the New Testament.
