Webster's 1828 Dictionary in SwordSearcher second definition of "dispensation" reads:
2. The dealing of God to his creatures; the distribution of good and evil, natural or moral, in the divine government.

I 'googled' the quotation and found the name "Rogers," but could not find exactly who he was. Could it be John Rogers, 1505-1555, who "...contributed some valuable prefaces and marginal notes..." to the Matthews Bible?Thank you.
