Sometime in the past, I don't know how long ago, I mention about broken or missing links or perhaps it was misspellings in the commentary, but it was minor enough where it was decided it wasn't worth all the time and effort to fix. Now is something different where the wrong verse is displayed for the commentary, so I thought it was worth mentioning because perhaps it could lead to someone being confused on what Matthew Henry was trying to teach.
2 Samuel 23:39 commentary notes, the link reference in the text for 1Ch21:28 should be 1 Ch26:28. Thank You

Macdonald Publishing company six volume set, printed version. I'm using the laptop, so to get a picture I usually have to go to the phone and then connect the phone to the computer. I take a picture later brother. The commentary says about Joab taking spoils to the house of God. So then if you look up 1 Chronicles 21:28 it doesn't make sense to have that the verse. So in the printed text, it has 1 Chron. xxvi. 28. But I do have a another version of Matthew Henry's six volume by Hendrickson (spelling). I'll look in that copy to see if that perhaps was where the error of the wrong verse reference originated.

from my laptop's webcam. And it was also in the Hendrickson's version, in the picture above. At the very end of the commentary for that section. I hope this helps. God Bless

My physical edition of the book also says "1 Chr. 26:28."

One thing I have noted is that even ebook editions of older commentaries or study resources sometimes contain Scriptural typos - I have seen some in parts of Matthew Henry's Commentary, and even a couple in Strong's in my Bible apps. Seems the larger a resource is, the less typos are proofread. Of course, if I am quoting a book with an obvious typo, I will fix the reference if it is obvious to me what it should be, but I imagine that it would be almost impossible to get a book company to correct an error like that if it has been in it since the original printing of the book. (Though, upon typing this, I see Swordsearcher does not contain the error that I found in Strong's recently in my Bible app.)
