Yet Another ESV Post

Hi all! New here! Just bought SS 9 a few days ago and I absolute love it! However, In order to get acquainted I figured I’d start off on the right foot by posting what I assume has likely been posted 80,000 times, so I’ll make it 80,001 for the memes.

Crossway has made the ESV available for free on:

E-Sword
Blue Letter Bible
Accordance
Logos

Particularly that it’s freely available on Accordance and Logos which are both for-profit softwares, I don’t see how it would be a problem getting it for SS. If there’s something I’ve missed and/or are misunderstanding, please let me know. It’d be amazing to have the ESV in such an amazing and powerful software like SS.

Yup, when I contacted them about making it available for SwordSearcher users, trust me, it was not "free." I don't know why they thought my tiny company should be charged differently than the rest (although it is just an assumption that they other companies aren't paying for it, I wouldn't know), but it wasn't feasible for me to do.

I always encourage people to read what comes with SwordSearcher before purchasing:

Maybe someone else not associated with SwordSearcher would be able to get permission to create a "free" ESV module for SwordSearcher and distribute it. They would not allow me to do it that way. I certainly won't be increasing the cost of SwordSearcher to include it.

Since this has already come up many times before and tends to go off-topic real fast I'll be closing the thread.
