Bible word count statistics

One fascinating aspect of Bible study is looking at word counts. In SwordSearcher, it’s easy to get detailed statistics from a search, and combining this with word form searches can make it even more interesting. Here’s an example.

When I search for something like forsake or forsak, it shows "forsake, forsaketh, forsaking" in the first search entry, but it does not show forsaken in that list. Any thoughts?

When I search for something like forsake or forsak, it shows "forsake, forsaketh, forsaking" in the first search entry, but it does not show forsaken in that list. Any thoughts?

The words are "stemmed" to a root form with an algorithm, and occasionally the algorithm fails to properly stem a word. Thank you for your report -- I will work on the algorithm to properly stem this type of word.
