This is happening to me again. I paste a document into the "Scan text....," copy standardized, paste that into "Edit this entry," and no green check mark. So I changed the size of the font in edit mode and got a green check mark. I tried another entry and used the same procedure and this time I...
I'm adding footnotes to a Bible module using the curly braces {} and "; HAS FOOTNOTES" at the beginning of the file per the Forge manual instructions. When I import the module and toggle Show Footnotes, they show in the text exactly the way I added them, i.e. "{footnote}" instead of showing them...
I’m trying to copy from a pdf document containing some Greek words and paste into a user module. When I paste directly into SS, the Greek words do not paste correctly. It comes out “Christ (Cristo>v) where "Cristo>v" should be in Greek. I get the same result if I paste into a Word document...
I added a new entry and closed SwordSearcher - the file reflected the current date. I do run a continuous backup. The backup system I use "continuously scans the backup source device for new or revised files, and immediately makes a backup copy when it detects one." Whatever happened is a...

I created a new entry in my user module and spent several hours studying and adding to the new entry. I saved it several times as I went along and looked at the results. I saved it again before I closed SwordSearcher. The next day the new entry with all the information I had entered was nowhere...
Thanks Brandon - your usual quick response is greatly appreciated. I took your suggestions and found that the editor works well for my purposes. I suppose one would need to use the "Scan Text..." in a document where the scripture references are more obscure.
In the "Scan Text for Verse References" feature, dates and page numbers in the text being scanned are highlighted and then converted to verse references when I select "Copy All Standardized." Here's an example:
This is the text copied into the "Scan Text..."
"Ministry to the Hurting
Mark 1:29-45...
I have always used the green check-mark to save changes when editing a module so I would know the changes were made when the check-mark dimmed. It seems that since the last Program Version 6.1.1.3, the check-mark stays bright green so I either have to check the module to see if the changes were...
