Color with default

I find myself going up to the tool bar often to click on the pencil. A shortcut key to color the selection in the default color would be useful (how about alt-x since it's easy to do with one hand).

I wonder if the space bar might be a good key to highlight a Bible selection with the default color. That would be very easy to use and natural.

An additional idea would be to use the regular lower case keys like c m y r g b to color a selection with cyan, magenta, yellow, red, green, blue... You would probably need to be able to turn this on/off in the preferences.

Maybe there is a technical reason not to use a single key approach?
