Could the ctrl-[ and ctrl-] be made to work like in a browser so that in-line images as well as fonts would be made larger and smaller.

Also could the ctrl-mouse wheel do the same thing?

It would be really handy to be able to change the size of an inline image for teaching or when using a projector.
 
I'll check into it.
 
Quick update: the next update of SwordSearcher will include an "optical zoom" function that works as you have requested.
