Possible ideas for additions to library

Would like to see Lewis Sperry Chafer's Systematic Theology added to the modules. Also John Walvoord would be an excellent addition to the library as well.

Last time I checked, those materials were all still under copyright. They are probably getting close to falling into the public domain though and I have them on my list.

I'm not too sure Walvoord's writings would be public domain any time soon.

Excerpt from https://walvoord.com/:
His first book, published in 1943, was The Doctrine of the Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ Our Lord, published a quarter of a century later, in 1969,
Based on the calculations applied below by the Library of Congress, I think The Doctrine of the Holy Spirit would go into the public domain on Jan. 1, 2039.

On the other hand, L. S. Chafer's should be close if not there – at least some of them. E.g., his Major Bible Themes was copyrighted in 1926. It can be downloaded from https://lewissperrychafer.org/Themes.pdf. Often publishers (or anyone else) will update or revise things like that to get a revised edition to be under copyright. Based on what the Library of Congress says (https://blogs.loc.gov/copyright/202...copyright-1926-works-enter-the-public-domain/), it looks to me as if writings (some? all?) copyrighted in the USA in 1926 became public domain on January 1, 2022.

I don't know about others of Lewis Sperry Chafer's books.

I have much of Chafer's best in SwordSearcher already: https://www.swordsearcher.com/bible-study-library/chafer-essential-works.html but when I built that module a lot of his writings were still under copyright.

I will revisit this soon to get details but in order to keep the cost of SwordSearcher where it is, I don't typically license works that require royalties so it really comes down to publication date...
