Thanks, David. Yes, his works are in the public domain, but I would need a digital source from which to derive a SwordSearcher module. It doesn't appear that there is one freely available. The second option is to scan the books and digitize the text; quite a big job which would require significant interest in the text to justify. I will keep an eye out for an available text or book scan to work from.
