Job 9:9, 26:13, 38:31, Am 5:5 and Acts 28:11 mention stars and constellations by name. You can go to this website and search for pictures of these. There will be several good pictures of each. Pick one.

http://antwrp.gsfc.nasa.gov/cgi-bin/apod/apod_search

I downloaded the pics by right clicking on the image and doing "save as" saving them in c:\program files\swordsearcher 5\images\stars\ sub-directory. You may have to create the stars sub-directory first (or store them in an existing SS image sub-directory) .

Then I put links into my notes on the above verses to display the pics.

You can use the SS image viewer link to display the image using the html "code" tab of the note editor. Here's an example where the file has been saved as c:\program files\swordsearcher 5\images\stars\orion.jpg :

<a href="swordsearcher://image/stars/orion.jpg">orion</a></p>

Another way to display a picture is to use the following html in your note:

<img src="c:\program files\swordsearcher 5\images\stars\orion.jpg" width=100%>

Be sure you are editing with the HTML CODE option.

The final thing I did with this study is make an entry in the journal for today's date (journal mentioned in a previous post) with links to the notes showing the pictures plus some text describing what I found in the Bible. Swordsearcher gives you the option when editing in design mode to insert a link to a note or book.

Psalms 19:1 To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David. The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.

Psalms 50:6 And the heavens shall declare his righteousness: for God is judge himself. Selah.

Psalms 97:6 The heavens declare his righteousness, and all the people see his glory.

Swordsearcher is such a great study tool.

Yes, indeed.

I tell you guys what, when He said, "Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth" in 2 Timothy 2:15, one of the "thyselfs" He is talking about has to be WSBones. Thanks again for another in-depth study of the Word, Bill. I can't wait to dig into this one!

Wow! These are awesome pictures. I LOVE all things about the heavens. At one time in my childhood dreams I wanted to grow up and be an astronomer. Then the reality of mathematics set in and put paid to those aspirations! :) However, I never lost my absolute fascination with outer space. Thanks Bill.
