I have SS set up to bring up the topic and verse guide (TVG) when I 2click on a word. I get the same window if I use alt-T and type in the word. I also get the same result if I type in a verse reference.
I also have SS set up so that when I 2click on a verse ref in the Bible window, it brings up a verse guide. But it does this in a search window instead of the TVG dialog window.
The question is - why have a different result for similar functionality? My preference would be for the same result in every case. Maybe it could be a preference setting whether output goes to the dialog window or search window.
The dialog window is nice if you want to change the search parameter. The search window is nice because it doesn't cover up other windows. I like them both but I would like them the same.
