My Dark Mode after turned off. Any ideas...? Have to restart SS to get it to go away. Screenshot (18).png

To add to post.
Does anyone know the Book Module file size limit? My largest in my folder is,
[HEBREWSsg] Comprehensive Study Guide on the Book of Hebrews 25.9 MB (27,160,210 bytes)
[HEBREWSsg-Assets] 58.2 MB (61,046,845 bytes)
I have had modules that would not load because of size.

Those are two very distinct questions and probably should be posted as separate threads.

What do you mean by "after turned off..." Did your computer enter a power saving cycle? What is in your screen shot shouldn't happen but should be easy to fix just by toggling dark mode again using the button on the bottom left of the screen, or by restarting SwordSearcher.

I do. There is no practical limit. You'd run out of storage and memory before SwordSearcher had a technical problem with the size of your book module.

I'd suggest keeping individual entries in the book below a meg or so, but even that isn't a problem. There is no enforced limit on the size of books or commentaries.

I doubt very much the problem was module size. It could be that a specific entry was created with an unreasonable amount of content and it was unresponsive because of loading (this can happen even in word processors, etc), but again, there is no limit to the actual file size beyond what is allowed by the OS, which is well into the gigabytes.

I meant that when I turned on Dark Mode, then turned it off. I had that lagging dark mode as the image I uploaded. In the drop down menu. The only way i got rid of it was to do as you say, restart SS.
As for the file size, I could not upload book modules in the past because the upload stopped and said too large. So that is why I have some modules shared through my OneDrive. Of those, some have (MP3) audio and (MP4) video. Got that idea from wsbones, no real reason but that I thought if a module is too big it gets refused. So was curious if file size does not matter locally, it must be the uploading to the Forum some kind of limit.

No problems with file sizes locally, it is the uploads that refused, said too large. When attempting to upload a book module.

I misunderstood, sorry. I thought when you said modules would not load, that you meant SwordSearcher wouldn't load them.

The forum software does have a limit on attachment and upload sizes. I do not know what that limit is. If the module has that much extra data in it, better to share it using a file sharing service than to use the module repository.
