Verse Guide does not show up

After I lost my layout customisation file on my laptop, I tried to make another one following Brandon's video (Bible on Left), but only Search Results.
I have no problem with the desktop.

Try resetting your layout to Bible on Left. Go to the View menu and choose Set Layout > Bible on Left.

Then type a verse reference in the main search box like Ge 1:1 and press enter.

The Verse Guide will appear in the search results area.
