Synch options

When I am in a text, say Exod. 12:1, and then I click to go to Exod. 11:1, why doesn't the commentary change with me unless I also click the focus widget?

I am perhaps forgetting, but I thought if I went from text to text, the commentary would follow?

I do see when I use F6 and type in a new location the synch follows. Can the synch be an option for "previous/next chapter" arrows after the book title & verse?

Here are the sync options you can configure:

Based on your description, I don't think you are missing anything. It's not designed to change the commentary panel when you use the Bible panel's book/chapter selections (it's only book and chapter -- you'd only ever be able to do it that way for the first verse, so in my thinking it didn't make sense to tie it to the commentary panel). You need to either use the main search bar, double-click a verse tag, or use the sync widget -- which are all verse-level actions that let you clearly signal your intent.

I suppose using F6 is easiest, since I prefer to do things by keyboard.

But I also notice it doesn't change when I go from one bookmark to the next.

These are minor things, so I don't want to seem as though I am complaining. But we've been spoiled with the high expectations you always seem to meet or surpass... God bless! Doing pulpit fill tomorrow, in addition to SS.

Right, the bookmark is an explicit selection of one discreet item -- a verse, commentary, or book. It should only "go to" that item that is bookmarked.
