    Basic software question.

How do I get the swordsearcher software on to my desktop to my laptop?

    Scrolling

It will work. Thanks! However, I would still suggest the method I proposed as a good next step for enhancements; that is, what I propose would make it a default feature. Robert

    Scrolling

Is there a way to scroll backwards such that you can go past the first verse in a chapter and go to the previous chapter? If not I would propose adding double chevrons to the jump feature such as << < > >> where << would take you to the beginning of the chapter (i.e., first...

    New Isaiah Commentary

I discovered a new Isaiah commentary by a prominent scholar that is entirely free online. Perhaps the author would permit its inclusion in Sword Searcher. See https://www.isaiahexplained.com/1#commentary

    Automatic Search Options

There is a nice feature in other programs that allows you do a search on multiple words and it automatically creates multiple tab output that covers any one word, cobmination of words or the exact phrase. This often yields some interesting findings that require mutliple searches at present...

    Search Panel Verse Selection

I have seen in other search engines the presence of a tiny box next to each verse to alll it to be selected. For instance, in a search or in loaded cross references, it is often the case that only some of the verses loaded are desired for the study at had. To be able to go through a long list...

    KJV-TSK

Wow! great feature, I did not notice the search bar because I have been using the classic layout with the Bible on the Right (and I always use the search dialog box). I go way back with SS. It is interesting however, that you don't need to even need to go there if you are in the chapter.... it...

    KJV-TSK

Oops, I was mistaken, (the pick list is the list you get when you select the down arrow at the top). I was not paying attention and it was only the chapter pick list. I thought there was a pick list for each verse in the chapter to get there quickly instead of a long scroll..sometimes

    KJV-TSK

In the KJV-TSK module, when you select the pick list for Acts 13 the list only goes to verse 28 but there are 52 verses in the Chapter. Needs fixin.

    TSK verse loading

I was primarily referring to the links that show up in the other panel, that have the options to show the arrows in them or not. In the instructional video it indicated that the arrows can be turned off in the links but only in the dialog box.

    Mobile SwordSearcher?

Brandon, Do you know if microsoft is pursuing a paired down version of windows for cell phones (not the old one from pre Win10 days)? I heard it was. If so, perhaps porting SS to it may be more achievable with minor adjustments.

    TSK verse loading

Wow that is excellent! I am impressed. But now that I see it I would make a suggestion regarding the arrows in the text. I see how it is activated in the settings dialog box however it would be real nice to simply have a icon toggle it on and off for both the Bible panel and the reference...

    TSK verse loading

I have version 8.3; is this version 8.4 I don't see the arrows.

    TSK verse loading

I would like to see the TSK "load all references" feature be refined to have a tab for each reference portion of a verse. That is, when a verse has several words with separate references, have a tab for each one so they can be easily parsed and reviewed. Currently the system loads all verses...

    TSK

I would like to see the TSK references for any one verse or portion of a verse listed in the order of books from OT to NT and have a color distinction option (i.e., OT is red, NT is blue) and the option to just see NT or OT references.

    Bible Book Browser

I found a nifty feature on browsing the scriptures and selecting a chapter in a manner other than the normal picklist. It is very intriguing and not just in its gui approach but also how it lays out the Bible visually everytime to go to it. Its sort of a visualation tool that can help one...

    KJV version

Brandon, Do you have a list of the words with speling variations among the versions? I would be interested in it since some are essentially unifying, standardizing variants (e.g., soape, soap) while others may indicate a distinct meaning. For instance, I always understood inquire/inquiry to be...

    Windows 10 Universal App

This program is a prime candidate for the windows 10 universal app capability. I hope that you will consider it. I think it will go much further than one might imagine especially since the service is just getting underway, it seems that every program that goes that way gets write ups everywhere...
