Book window

This doesn't seem to be happening with my books tabs when the books are visible and linked to the active verse:

Preferences (Options and Settings) > Library Tabs > Tab Appearance
Tab Color controls the background color of the tabs:

•The Active tab is the currently selected library resource in the panel.

•Inactive Tabs are the other tabs available, but not currently selected.

•Inactive tabs with corresponding entries are tabs for library modules that have an entry with the same title. This color is used to "highlight" tabs with similar information. See the help topics on Books and Commentaries panels for details.

You can see what I mean in this picture. For Jonah 1:17, the commentaries with entries for the verse are yellow tabs, but not so the books with entries. I have spent about 30 min. trying to get the book tabs to be yellow but I am missing something, I am sure. Therefore I can have the book window active and scroll pertinent entry to pertinent entry using the sideways shortcut. That's very handy in the Comm. window.

If this is not a feature, can it be added to the wish list?

The tab corresponding color is for books that have an entry of the same title, such as dictionaries that all have an entry titled "Aaron." It's not verse-based. For both books and commentaries, that color is a signal that says "I have something on this, too."

Which book entry in a dictionary is the one you would expect to open for Jonah 1:17?

Keep in mind, you're talking about potentially dozens of relevant entries. Which one would you want opened when you click the tab? How could it know?

You just need to use the tools designed for verse-based indexing, such as the Bible margin links, or the Verse Guide panel, or the Topic Guide.
