Highlight with parallel Bibles

I was comparing two Bibles while reading and highlighting. This was an unexpected result. The highlight jumped across the boundary and highlighted in both Bibles but not the first verse. I started dragging down at the beginning of 2co 9:7 through 9:8.

Maybe this is normal. Anyway highlighting one verse at a time works.

Maybe copy paste verse 1 is actually there. Or no?

I'm not sure I understand. Are you reporting that the mouse marking didn't start where you wanted it to, or that the highlight was not applied to the marked text until the second column started?

I am unable to produce an unexpected outcome in compare mode. All the text I mark is highlighted, whether or not the marking crosses boundaries into the primary or compare columns.

When I start at the compare second column, (KJV16 version) same results as you.

Now that I went back all is Blue... Mmmm?
What does "double clicking" do when I do this I get a brown highlight on that Scripture?
It's in the background here in the images. If I do not "double click" its stays normal (white). I always wondered why and what?

Yes.....that's correct.
It does that correctly.
I use this a lot against me JFO (Jean Frederic Ostervald, French Bible.)
SO that way my "highlights" are copy cat in KJV and JFO..... same notes, same highlights, same thing either in English or French..... THIS feature is working perfectly for me... and with Spanish also.

It started correctly in the KJV column on 2co 9.7 on the first word of text, "Every". My assumption was that it would only highlight the KJV as I went down the kjv column. My surprise was that it highlighted the verse in the Bible in the left column also. I don't usually work with 2 Bibles showing. With only 1 Bible you can highlight several verses consecutively.

I was thinking it would be like a spreadsheet. It's more like a page of text.

Hey I learned from this. Hope everyone did!
