Is there a safe browser to use when using a browser is necessary?

With this newer computer I have started using, somehow I ended up with Wave browser. I check the internet about it and all I have read thus far is running it down. I am at the point where I trust Facebook about as far as I can throw a cow by the tail and Wave browser is the one I have been able to use to get to Facebook or MeWe without an error message. Is my imperfect knowledge that which might be at fault? Has anyone on this forum had any experience with this and/or can give me any advise on it? I am getting ready to start scanning a lot of things so I can put them into SwordSearcher and plan to be going to the internet for very, very little for a long time and using SwordSearcher and its commentaries for bible study purposes. In case it makes any difference I am not a preacher but I do entirely believe that God can reveal wondrous things to an 86 year old man. Thanks much my friends.

This is a bit off-topic for this forum, but since you asked about it in the context of making SwordSearcher modules -- personally I use Brave.

That said, you will need to seek out tech support for non-SwordSearcher problems from your computer vendor.
