I don't think I would recommend that, but perhaps it would work for you.Has anyone used Google Drive for Desktop to store and sync your modules? I currently have multiple computers and have used OneDrive, but I mainly use Google Drive as a cloud storage provider.
Thank you, sir! I'm going to keep it in OneDrive, and keep a backup copy on a thumb drive.I don't think I would recommend that, but perhaps it would work for you.
MS recently sent me an email saying they are only allowing 2TB to be shared among you and those sharing your subscription... so in effect they've reduced the space from 6TB (1TB per person) to 2TB for 6 persons to shareWith my (paid) Office 365 account, with OneDrive (Plus 5 Shared) I get 1 Terabyte with (free version) Google only 17 GB so no information here in Sector 9.
Yes you are right there... Ya when I read that I thought, you are killing Publisher, you are reducing the space for OneDrive, and no coffeeMS recently sent me an email saying they are only allowing 2TB to be shared among you and those sharing your subscription... so in effect they've reduced the space from 6TB (1TB per person) to 2TB for 6 persons to share...
That is moving on! Let me know what you replace it with. The cloud world is something I have looked into dropping and the more AI and Subscriptions are taking over, it is a need to consider.Well an internet privacy guy I follow on youtube has been advocating people ditch ovedrive because they scan whatever you have in there... I'm looking at his homelab solution where you can take an old computer you're no longer using and turn it into a Linux server and access your files from any device... kinda like your own personal cloud service.
I've wiped onedrive of everything but my SS modules folder and sermons I downloaded. That's all i intend to keep there now. Of course MS complained bitterly that I've deleted many files. I cleared out the personal vault and just put an empty folder in it so I'll stop getting an error message. So thanks MS for giving me the push I needed to exit your privacy invading cloud service. They can listen to those sermons
