Order in which books of Bible were written

Does anyone know and be willing to share which (if any) resources in SwordSearcher might have authors' lists of the order in which they think the books of Bible were written?

Thanks!

I am not familiar with a single list in the various books (though there may be one).

I guess the way to do it would be to compile the list (not what you want to do, I know :) ) manually from various sources. I'd open the Topic Guide and type in the name of each book and look at the various dictionaries and see what each one says about it.

The TSK has a helpful chronology at the start of many chapters and books, but it is not necessarily a "when it was written" but "when this happened."

Here is a link to Grace to You website with their suggested order

When were the Bible books written?

Yes, I had already seen that. It's better than some, I think. I found this one (http://www.biblestudytools.com/resources/guide-to-bible-study/order-books-new-testament.html), and I don't think I can agree with it. I found this (http://www.gfcto.com/articles/bible-books/the-nt-chronologically) based on a book by Robert H. Gundry. I am not endorsing any of these sites, just saying what I found.

If someone is interested in the timing of the writing of Galatians and a partial chronology of Paul's life, this article is excellent: http://www.hannas.org/2009/12/three-historical-questions-from-the-life-of-paul/.

Thanks, all.

Thanks, Brandon, for your ideas. BTW, do you recall ever getting an e-mail from me about a possible enhancement for SwordSearcher: a way to do timelines? :)
